Furthermore, as a rule the Runway 18L-36R (Aalsmeerbaan) is closed between 23:00 and 06:00 hours to aircraft taking off and landing. The runway can only be used if the runway 18R-36L (Polderbaan) and runway 06-24 (Kaagbaan) are not available or feasible, or in the event of a rescue operation or relief effort.
