New rules applying to hand baggage within the EU

New rules on what is permitted in hand luggage will take effect on 6 November 2006. These rules apply to all passengers departing from or changing planes at all EU airports.

New: Bicycle boxes for sale at Schiphol

Passengers who want to take their bicycles with them can buy a bicycle box for extra safety and convenience. Bicycle boxes are sold in the baggage depot, which is situated in the basement under the central staircase to Departure Halls 1 and 2. A great extra service for holidaymakers who love the outdoors!

Lost and found

When you have lost or found an item at Schiphol, you can go to one of the information desks in the Lounges and at Departure and Arrival level.

Lost luggage

Lost something? That's rather unfortunate. Fortunately the Lost Property Office at Schiphol will keep any items that are found in a safe place for until you come to collect them.
