- If you want to park your car for 3 days or more, it is best to use car park P3 as this is the cheapest option. You can then use the free shuttle bus service to take you to the terminal. This service runs at 10-minute intervals and is available 24 hours a day. Before parking your car, you can first of all unload your baggage in a special area close to the bus stop. Upon your return, you will be able to take the bus from the stop in front of Schiphol Plaza.
- If you want to park for 3 days or less or are coming to collect someone or drop someone off, it is best to use car parks P1 and P2, which are close to the terminal. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from here to the terminal.

- Parking underneath the terminal in car park P7. It is only possible to gain access to this car park with a credit card or subscription.

The most convenient way to enter and leave the car parks is by using your credit card. You do not have to wait for a ticket. All you have to do is place your credit card in the card reader at the entrance and exit. You will be issued with a receipt when you leave the car park.

How safe is my car?
All car parks have video surveillance 24 hours a day. In addition, regular patrols take place. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol nevertheless wishes to point out that all vehicles are left entirely at the owner's risk.
All of the car parks have specially designated disabled parking spaces. These spaces are marked with the international symbol of access. A bus, which has been specially adapted for wheelchair users, can take you to the terminal free of charge on request. The IAC is responsible for this service. No parking is allowed in front of the departure and arrivals hall. You are only allowed to stop here to let passengers in and out of your car and to load or unload baggage. In all other cases you should park in one of the car parks. Unauthorised vehicles will be fined.
What is the maximum headroom of the car parks at Schiphol?
The maximum headroom of the car parks at Schiphol is 2 metres. If you want to park in car park P1 or P2 (short-term parking) and the height of your car exceeds 2 metres, you can park at car park P3 (long-term parking) at the short-term parking rate.
