British business travellers have chosen Amsterdam Airport Schiphol for the 21st time as best airport of Europe. London, Munich and Zurich were kept away. Especially transferring at Schiphol is very easy, next to many facilities and services for business travellers.

Coen Reinders, member of the Management Team of Schiphol Group, received the prestigious price at the Business Traveller Awards ceremony in London. “We are very proud that the British business traveller has awarded us for the 21st time. From our ambition to be Europe’s preferred airport, we aim to optimize the travel process and provide innovative applications.”

Particularly KLM is one of the airlines that provide flights for passengers from small regional airports in Great Britain to let them transfer at Schiphol. But also British Airways, Easyjet, BMI, Cityjet, FLybe and Jet2.com are daily at Schiphol. After Holland Great Britain is the biggest market of Schiphol. During the first half of 2010 3.1 million passengers travelled from Great Britain via Schiphol.
