New method for inspections at and around Schiphol

Recently, the Royal Dutch Military Police (Koninklijke Marechaussee), the Water Board (Hoogheemraadschap Rijnland) and the Transport and Water Management Inspectorate transferred a number of their inspection tasks to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

The overall aim is to improve inspections. This means carrying out inspections more efficiently, keeping disruptions to operations to a minimum and improving the enforcement of environmental, safety and security regulations.
