Study investigating Schiphol’s hinterland connections

Starting on 1 February Rick van Zoeren of the Hogeschool Amsterdam (HES) initiated a thesis study at Schiphol Cargo mapping out Amsterdam Airport Schiphol’s hinterland connections, what we call our landside network.

The central issue addressed by this thesis is how this multimodal hub can be further developed with the final objective of generating more cargo via Schiphol. His supervisor is Harry Tomesen.
