Founders of Schiphol SmartGate Cargo

Three organizations that work closely together: Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the representative of the sector Air Cargo Netherlands (ACN) and the Dutch Customs Administration, as director of all goverment law enforcement agencies. Their shared objectives are three-fold:

• the airport seeks a strong competitve position: speed, credibility, safety and low costs
• the airlines and airline brokers seek predictable procedures: speed, low costs and efficiency
• the EU and society want safety and security, health and reliability, but also speed and low costs.

The triangle strives to cluster the needs for speed, safety and reliability and they work closely together to realize the strategic objective mentioned above. An unique initiative of public and private co-operation.
