Blue1 back at Schiphol
The Finnish airline Blue1 will fly from Schiphol again. From 31 January 2011 the route from Helsinki to Amsterdam will be flown twice a day with a Boeing 717 with 115 seats. Blue1 is a full subsidiarily of SAS Scandinavian Airlines and is also a Star Aliance member. Blue1 flew till February 2008 on Schiphol but was in that time not really focussed on the business traveller. Now the frequency, the flight scheme and the type of airline are more geared on the business traveller. With the start of this service Helsinki is the only destination that is served by all of the three big aviation alliances; SkyTeam (KLM), One World (Finnair) and Star Alliance (Blue1).
