Renewal of the Holland Boulevard

Schiphol renewed the Holland Boulevard, between E and F piers, which consists of many facilities for passengers. Here, passengers can visit the masters of art at the redesigned Rijksmuseum, sample Dutch food at the “Dutch Bar & Dutch Kitchen” and experience the world of the famous Dutch Genever brand Lucas Bols and choose their favorite virtual cocktail. Throughout the area, whole “living rooms” are being created with fire places, TVs and even a piano. There is a Dutch Design shop, a casino and an Airport Library – a first for any airport – where visitors can read digital books and listen to music. If they like, they can actually download their favorite music to take on board the airplane. For travelers with children there is a Baby Care Lounge where parents can take care of their babies (in private), bathe them, feed them and/or allow them to sleep for a while in one of the seven bed cabins, which include comfortable seats for the parents. In the Kids Forest children can play in forest-like surroundings, with actual tree houses, slides and a range of climbing and play equipment.
