This requires a very extensive level of service, not only in the area of transport, baggage handling and safety, but also in entertainment, commerce, hospitality, recreation, catering and the establishment of businesses.

Creating AirportCities

As Schiphol Group, our aim is to develop and operate AirportCities. This is reflected in our aspiration to be much more than merely a facilitator of flight movements. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is our most prominent example of a successful AirportCity and we apply this formula to other airports by using the experience and expertise gained here.
