Codes of conduct and conventions
We believe that it is important for employees to be aware of what corporate responsibility means within the context of their own work. The Corporate Code of Conduct and the Corporate Responsibility Policy Statement are the main codes that set out how we expect our employees to behave.
Our policy focuses on:

- Continuously guaranteeing safety at the airport
- Playing an active and leading role in relation to the environs
- Ensuring that there is a good quality of life in the areas surrounding Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
- Creating sustainable value for our stakeholders and generating the required financial strength

Global Compact
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has been a member of Global Compact since the beginning of 2010. This is an initiative of the United Nations, in which participating businesses and organisations express their commitment to uphold ten key principles in their business activities. These principles are aimed at improving human rights, working conditions and the environment, based on the idea that businesses can play an important role in these areas.
