Social involvement

We demonstrate our social commitment by organising a wide range of activities. The key theme of our policy is: to create opportunities for (knowledge) development and/or employment, especially for young people.

Schiphol College
We focus on training (young) people who are unqualified and do not hold a diploma to prepare them for a job in the aviation sector. We do this in collaboration with the Regional Training Centre in Amsterdam at Schiphol College.

SOS-Kinderdorpen
Schiphol Group identifies with the aims of its partner SOS-Kinderdorpen, an aid agency that offers children opportunities to develop their skills and gives them the prospect of a better life through education.

Sponsoring
We support various sports and cultural organisations in the Schiphol region through sponsorship and donations.

Examples include:

• the Grachtenfestival of classical music at outdoor locations in central Amsterdam
• the 'Het Oude Raadhuis theatre' in Haarlemmermeer
• The Amsterdamse Bos open air theatre
