Great for kids

hmm!

A day out at Schiphol is great for people of all ages, but in particular for kids! You could take them to family restaurant Touch Down, on the third floor above Departures 1, for instance, where they can have some chips or pancakes and enjoy themselves in the special play area. They can do some climbing, go down the slides or even watch a film before you take them to the adjoining Panorama terrace to watch the planes for a while.

But there are many more locations before passport control that you can take them to for a nice meal. Such as the Grand Café Plaza, which serves genuine clown pancakes (children are even given a colouring picture and a balloon here) or the Vlaamse Frites, which serves delicious chips.

There is also plenty on offer for children in the area beyond passport control, too. At the Market Food Court in Lounge 1, for instance, they can have a hamburger at Burger King or a pizza at Sbarro before they go off to enjoy themselves in the special kids corner. In Lounge 3, there is a McDonald's, which not only serves happy meals but also has a special children's play area.

One thing is for sure: kids can have lots of fun at Schiphol!!!
