Are you flying with EasyJet, Jet2.com, BMIbaby, Sky Europe, Thomsonfly, Sterling, Flybe or Air Berlin? Your flight departure gate will be located in either Pier H or Pier M. Please be sure to pay close attention to the following information:
- Check your boarding pass. This states whether you are leaving from 'H' or 'M'.
- Follow the yellow signs with the letter 'H' or 'M'.
- Regularly check the flight information screens. Gate numbers are announced 30 minutes prior to departure for M-gates and 40 minutes prior to departure for H-gates. These screens will display the correct gate number, together with the status 'boarding'.
- At this point you can proceed to your gate.
- There are no restaurants, bars or shops on the piers. Toilet facilities are situated at the beginning and end of the pier.
'Wait in lounge'
Gates in Piers H and M are the only gates at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol that use the 'Wait in lounge' system, whereby specific gate numbers are announced either 30 minutes (Pier M) or 40 minutes (Pier H) prior to departure. The 'Wait in lounge' system gives the airport greater flexibility in assigning gate positions.
