Additionally, the lighting was completely renewed and the rain-pipe system in the area was overhauled. As a consequence, all aircraft movements (all freighter aircrafts) to and from the Sierra Apron had to be towed across Taxiway S2.

We are happy to announce that all maintenance work has been completed as planned and is even slightly ahead of schedule. As a result, all aircraft have been able to reach the Sierra Apron again as from 1 October under their own power source.
