Access to car park

18. What should I do when I approach the car park?
On arrival at the car park, feed your credit card into the credit card reader at the entrance to the car park. The parking system will recognise the credit card as the one used to make the booking and the barrier arm will rise. You must use the same credit card as you filled in on the payment site.

19. Is there a special part of the car park reserved for Schiphol P&T 3 Reserved Parking?
No, there isn’t. You can park your car anywhere in P3, except in Privium spaces.

20. Can I also reserve a special disabled parking space at Schiphol P&T 3 Reserved Parking?
You do not need to reserve parking spaces for the disabled with Schiphol P&T 3 Reserved Parking. When you arrive you may park in the reserved spaces for the disabled if you have a valid dispensation. You can obtain these from the service desk.

21. What must I do when I come back from my holiday?
Take the shuttle bus service from the Terminal to P3 and go to your car. Drive to the exit and feed your credit card into the column by the exit. You will pay extra for any days you parked on either side of the period you booked.

26. What happens if my creditcard is due to expire between the time of booking and the time the reservation starts?
You cannot use this credit card to enter the car park. There are two possibilities: Change the creditcardnumber via `Manage My Booking`

Check that your credit card has not expired. In some cases, your place of work can block your computer’s IP address, meaning that your payment is not accepted for security reasons. Try again on a PC with a recognisable IP address. If necessary, please contact your credit card company.

32. Is paying through Schiphol.nl safe? I don’t see a little padlock when I visit the payment page.
Your payment via www.schiphol.nl is guaranteed to be safe. A possible reason for not seeing the little padlock is that the booking page is run through a page which uses a Schiphol.nl frame, causing the little padlock not to be visible in the right hand lower corner. This does not mean however that the payment is not made via a secure connection and that the payment is unsafe.

33. How can I be sure the payment is safe?
Schiphol uses Bibit payment facilities for online payments. This company specialises in Internet payments and satisfied all the conditions for quick and safe payments.

34. How do I know that my booking has been accepted?
