Application
Everyone who works in the protected and secure areas at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol must have a Schiphol Pass with the appropriate authorisation. If you wish to apply for a Schiphol Pass, you will need the following:
- The original, complete and correctly filled-out Schiphol Pass application form. The form must not contain any deletions (including use of correction fluid etc.), and must be signed by an authorised signatory at your employer and by the necessary principal, if appropriate.
If you will be working in a protected area you will also need:
- A Certificate of No Objection [Verklaring van Geen bezwaar, VGB] from the Dutch Border Police [Koninklijke Marechaussee]. You can request the form for obtaining the VGB by calling +31 (0)20 603 21, or visit the General Intelligence and Security Service [Algemene Inlichtingen- en Veiligheidsdienst, AIVD] website.
- The Security Awareness and/or Airside Safety Test certificate. You must successfully complete this test at the Badge Centre when you report to pick up your pass. You may also be required to first complete Safety and Security basic training. For more information about the test(s) and how to prepare, follow the link at the bottom of this page.
Applying for a new pass
You must apply for a new Schiphol Pass if: - The pass needs to be redesigned (as a result of authorisation change)
- You work for a new employer
- You want to convert your Schiphol Day Pass into a regular Schiphol Pass
- Your pass has expired
