Airside Safety Test
All applicants for a Schiphol Pass that grants access to a protected area, including the perimeter roads and/or the aprons, must successfully complete the Airside Safety Test. This Test is part of the Safety & Security Test and contains multiple choice questions on rules and regulations concerning safety airside.
Depending on where you will be working, the Test can be divided into two sections: twelve questions about the perimeter roads and twelve questions about the aprons.
The Test is held at the Badge Centre in Triport 2.
Re-sitting the Test
The following rules apply to those who fail the test the first time:
- Failed for the first time: you may re-sit the Test the same day or within two months of the original test date.
- Failed a second time: you may re-sit the Test the following day or within two months of the original test date.
- Failed a third time: you will not receive a Schiphol Pass. You may retake the Test one year after the date you failed the second time.
If you re-sit the Test the same day, you only have to re-sit that part of the test for which you failed.
Validity of application form
The application form is valid for two months from the date of issue. If you retake the Test after two months or more, you must fill out a new application form and have it signed by your employer.
